The burnt stripe hazel hiking pole is a coppiced hazel-wood thumb-stick harvested from the Emlyn's Coppice woodland.
Featuring a hand stripped hazel shaft highlighted with a "shou sugi ban" style burnt in striped pattern extending down the full length of the shaft. Also featuring a Cobra stitched paracord wrist strap to keep your thumbstick at hand, even when you lose your feet! Plus a solid brass ferrule to keep the business end strong and well protected.
Finished with 4 coats of danish oil.

Height on this one is ideal for someone between 5'8" and 6' 2" but can be easily cut at home to suit your individual height/needs, rubber feet are easily available online as an alternative to the fitted brass ferule.
